Check-In and Check-Out

  • Check-In Time : 2:00 PM

  • Check-Out Time : 11:00 AM

  • Late Check-Out : Late check-out is subject to availability and will incur a charge of 1,000 THB per hour. Guests must obtain approval from management for late check-out.

 

Liability and Entry

  • Private Property Notice :

C Lanta Hostel is private property. The owner, manager, and/or operator reserve the right to deny entry or service to any individual at their discretion.

  • Assumption of Risk :

By entering the premises or using any amenities and facilities, guests acknowledge that they do so entirely at their own risk. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of the swimming pool, fitness areas, and any other facilities.

  • Limited Liability :

The owner, manager, operator, and their directors, officers, employees, agents, and representatives shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, death, or loss/damage to personal property arising from any cause, including but not limited to fire, theft, or any other hazards, whether caused by negligence or wrongful acts. Guests agree to release the hostel and its staff from any claims related to such incidents.

  • Photography and Media Release :

By staying at C Lanta Hostel, guests consent to the use of any photographs or video recordings taken within the premises, which may include images of the guest, for use on the hostel’s website or in other promotional materials without further notice or compensation.

 

Important Food and Beverage Information

  • Ingredient Disclosure :

While C Lanta Hostel makes every effort to use fresh ingredients in the preparation of food and beverages, guests are advised that some items may contain artificial colorants, preservatives, or other additives. Additionally, certain food items may have been prepared in environments where nuts or other allergens are present.

  • Dietary Restrictions :

Non-Halal and non-Kosher foods are prepared and served on the premises. Guests with specific dietary needs or allergies should inform the staff in advance but acknowledge that cross-contamination is possible.

 

Clean Air Policy

  • Non-Smoking Rooms :

All guest rooms at C Lanta Hostel are strictly non-smoking. Any evidence of smoking within the room will result in a cleaning fee of 3,000 THB. Guests who wish to smoke are requested to do so only on the designated balconies or outdoor areas.

  • Prohibited Items :

Fresh durian and seafood are not permitted in guest rooms or anywhere on the premises due to their strong odors and potential to attract pests. Violations of this policy will result in a fine of up to 1,000 THB.

 

Interaction with Wildlife

  • Do Not Feed the Monkeys :

Guests are advised not to feed the monkeys that may occasionally visit the premises. Feeding them can lead to aggressive behavior and disrupt their natural diet, potentially endangering both the animals and guests.

  • Wildlife Warning :

The hostel is located in a natural environment where interactions with wildlife may occur. Guests are responsible for ensuring their safety and are advised to keep doors and windows closed when not in the room to prevent animals from entering.

 

Swimming Pool Disclaimer and Rules

  • Use at Own Risk :

The use of the swimming pool and associated facilities is at the guest's own risk. The hostel does not provide lifeguards, and guests are expected to exercise caution and swim responsibly.

  • Liability Waiver :

The owner, manager, operator, and their representatives shall not be liable for any injuries, illnesses, or deaths resulting from the use of the swimming pool or related amenities, nor for any damage to personal property.

 

Third-Party Services

  • External Service Providers :

Tours, transfers, and spa services offered through C Lanta Hostel may be operated by third-party vendors. The hostel is not responsible for any incidents, accidents, or issues arising from the use of these services. Guests are advised to review the terms and conditions provided by these third-party operators before participating in any activities.

Acceptance of Terms

  • By signing below, I, the undersigned guest, acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to abide by the policies outlined above. I accept that C Lanta Hostel, its management, and its staff are not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages that may occur during my stay. I also consent to the use of my image as described in the Photography and Media Release section.
